Physiotherapy in Your St Kilda East Setting
Alma Park is bordered by Alma Road, Westbury Street and Dandenong Road and is divided by the Sandringham rail line. St Kilda and Balaclava are nearby. These local features offer context for community goals without implying every route is accessible to every person.
A house entrance, an apartment stairwell and a shared corridor each present different movement tasks. We assess the setting you actually use and ask about building access before arranging a visit.
Our sessions are home or community visits. We set up programs with your own equipment, steps and furniture, with tasks planned around your NDIS goals.
Neurological Rehabilitation
Neurological rehabilitation may focus on moving through a smaller living space, coordinating turns or managing a transfer. We choose tasks with you and adapt practice to your movement and fatigue.
Falls & Balance
Falls and balance support can address thresholds, reaching and changes of direction. We consider your own assistance arrangements and any concerns about the transition from home into a shared or outdoor space.
Strength & Capacity Building
Capacity-building exercises can use a chair or a clear area of floor rather than a full gym. We link strength and endurance work to the movements in your day and agree on manageable practice.
Mobility & Equipment
We assess walking aids and transfers in relation to the room and doorway widths you use. Transfer planning considers the space for both equipment and the person providing assistance.
